The Mosen is a rare bolt-action rifle found at militia locations. It uses Bonjour Clips, which holds 5 rounds. It has the Half Circle Rail pre-attached by default.

How to obtainEdit

The Mosen is found in 10 locations, which are mostly mixed with civilian locations. These locations are; Fernwood Farm, Wiltshire Farm, the S.S Haven, the compound in Holman Island, Kensington Campground, the military box in the barricaded house in Montague, the air traffic control tower in Belfast Airport, the town and the lighthouse in Summerside Peninsula, and the gun store in Burywood.

Weapon ConditionsEdit

  • The Mosen inflicts high damage-per-shot, and is capable of killing civilian zombies with one headshot.
  • It uses fairly common Bonjour clips, which can be refilled with 1 box of civilian bullets.
  • It is a very lightweight weapon, and is the third-lightest firearm in the game, next to the Magnum and Double Barrel.
  • It can accept any attachment.

  • The Mosen has a slow rate of fire due to its bolt action mechanism.
  • Its effective range is the shortest of any rifle.
  • It is rarer than its cousin rifle; the Outfield.
  • Its magazines only hold 5 bullets, hindering it greatly at close range.
  • Because of its low capacity, refilling its magazines is a very inefficient use of civilian bullets. This also makes it inefficient to carry on raids, requiring several Bonjour clips and/or boxes of civilian bullets for longer trips.

  • The Mosen is one of the only two civilian bolt action rifles currently in the game (the other being the Outfield.)
  • The Mosen is based off the Russian Mosin Nagant, which was created during the late 1800s to serve the Russian army. It was designed to give the Imperial Russian Troops an upper hand against the Turkish, who were armed with Winchester repeating rifles.
  • Along with many other weapons, this was renamed. Before the bandwidth crash, it was called the Mosin.
